Even if you don't read comic books, find this and read it. They showed this trailer and the trailer for Terminator Salvation. Geek excitement overload

Allan Moore wrote this as well as V for Vendetta, the Killing Joke (aka the greatest Joker story ever told) and a bunch more. After they made movies of a few of his comics and they sucked (League of Extraodinary Gentlemen & From Hell) he flipped out and tried really hard never to let them make films of his movies again. Of course V for Vendetta ruled so I think he's over it.

I liked League of Extraordinary Gentlemen for pure entertainment and special effects although I'm sure actual fans of the comic feel otherwise.

V for Vendetta pwned.

I dled these comics/graphic novels/i don't really know what the difference is.

I read the first one. Got 2 hours of sleep. And now have been up since 8am waiting to see The Dark Knight @ 3:30.

I'd read more right now but my brain doesn't work.

I think I'll watch League right now.

apparently, alan moore refuses to allow movies to be developed from any of the works he owns the copyright to. for his works that he doesnt own, like v for vendetta, LXG and watchmen, he asks that he is not assaociated at all from the movie.

he did some awesome comic work back in the day too, with swamp thing. but yea, everyone do yourself a favor and check out watchmen. its up there with the crow, by j o' barr and the dark knight returns and year one, by frank miller. some of my fav graphic novels ever. oh and also sandman.

I'm excited, but know they will probably fail to make it as good as the graphic novel. Keeping my fingers crossed
