chins, handstand pushups, dips, hindu squats, bridges, close grip pushups. plyos and burpees are cool too

1 arm pushups are good for strength. i hate doing endless reps so the 1 armed ones are my fave. handstand pushups are good too, like jetjaguar said.

dips and more dips

get the strongest tension band from a local sports store and use that for your biceps and other muscles

I'm not really a fan of pushups imo they are great for a mental exercise and great for your cardio/heart but dont make you buff really

Why do you not believe in weightlifting anymore? It's all resistance training. Weights are alot easier to get stronger with and measure progress. But if you really just want an all bodyweight routine check out Ross Enamait's Never Gymless.

I have great genetics for putting on muscle...but i find when i lift weights i get muscle bound and slow without any real functional strength gains

Well that same thing will happen with any resistance training. Because resistance is resistance.

no i dabbled in just dips and pushups before and i gained so much less muscle mass but so much more functional grappling and object lifting strength compared to weights

for me, weights + extra protein + creatine = lots of useless muscle

i dont want to gain any more muscle than i have, its not my style

i need a good strength and endurance and athletic plan

im thinking pushups, dips, pullups plyos and hindu squats and such?

what were your reps and sets like when you did push ups and dips? was it before or after you lifted weights?

I powerlifted...then just went to dipps and bodyweight with added weights then now to sitting and doing nothing all around the 5-7 rep scheme

i noticed by far the best for me was bodyweight excerises vs conventional compound weight movements
