I only have 30 min. in the mornings to get ready. I usually have a nutragrain bar and a muscle milk shake. I know it sucks. I was wondering what I could eat. I am 18 and lift once a day.

GOD 06-24-2008, 05:32 PM If you have time at night you could make something of an egg/veggie casserole that you could nuke in the morning.Along with some multigrain toast and a smoothie, you got your carbs/protein/all that good stuff. It's easy and you only need to whip one up every couple days.I can write up a recipe if you need it. Dozi 06-24-2008, 06:08 PM http://store.kashi.com/golean_cereal.aspx?SID=1&Category_ID=68& With blue berry's in it as well. Gives you just about everything you would need, maybe just not as much fat as your body would need in the morning but, you really can't go wrong if your an athletic person and eating this every morning. I use skim milk, but you could use 2% to makeup for the lack of fat in this meal, which in the morning you kind of do want some fat to burn for the day. As long as you don't overdo the fat intake, its all good your body NEEDS it as fuel for the day. CAUTION: The high fiber in it will take a bit of getting used to at first :) jetjaguar 06-24-2008, 07:16 PM oatmeal with protein powder and dried fruit ericd13 06-25-2008, 09:57 AM thanks a lot everyone. i like the idea of ceral because its easy. and i would end up becoming to lazy at night to make an omlet. Dozi 06-25-2008, 08:01 PM thanks a lot everyone. i like the idea of ceral because its easy. and i would end up becoming to lazy at night to make an omlet. Yep, i am in the same situation as you. Limited time in the mornings and i want something easy and quick that will give me the nutrition and vitamins my body needs for starting the day. Can't go wrong with any of the Kashi cereals bro, check out their website. GOD 06-25-2008, 08:25 PM lazy ftl jukeboxhero 06-26-2008, 05:02 AM When I used to eat healthy, I would cut up some fruit, have some high fiber cereal (skim milk), and a glass of orange juice. Grab a power bar to go for 2-3 hours later. Makes you feel good for the rest of the day. hotnewton 06-26-2008, 05:02 AM if you go the cereal route... make sure you test out a few. some cereals make me feel lethargic and bloated. I'm going to try Total. I also like the Kaashi (sp?) cereals even if they are a little expensive. hotnewton 06-26-2008, 05:02 AM Kashii? hotnewton 06-26-2008, 05:04 AM Not reading entire thread PWNT. Good advice Dozi. Kashi Go Lean and Go Lean Crunch fucking pwn. But the Total commerical says that Total has the same nutrional specs and daily amounts of vitamins and minerals that Kashi is missing. I'm going to do some detective work and get back to you. hotnewton 06-26-2008, 05:05 AM As for the fibre... yeah. It definitely takes some getting used to. But I am now eating at least 40g a day and loving it. My body feels like shit if I drop below 30g. War healthy eating. jukeboxhero 06-26-2008, 05:07 AM if you go the cereal route... make sure you test out a few. some cereals make me feel lethargic and bloated. I'm going to try Total. Sometimes I would cheat and eat some fruity pebbles. Only if I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat for a while. hotnewton 06-26-2008, 05:09 AM Cereals I dig are total, any type of shredded wheat, grape nuts (not really grapes or nuts), and raisin bran. Total is next on my list once this job gets sorted and I know what hours I will be working 100% I will create a meal plan since all I do is work, sleep, and go to the gym. sometimes I cheat too... Lucky Charms or Cinnamon Toast Crunch.... but they don't fill me up so I end up eating 3/4 of a box. deegs 06-26-2008, 05:39 AM oatmeal>cereal all day, niggas. i throw a handful of almonds in mine and use regular 2% milk. fills you up real good deegs 06-26-2008, 05:41 AM im not a nutritional expert or even have any sort of diet plan. i've managed to gain about 15lbs in the last 14 months and bf % has stayed the same, so i may be doing something right, accidentally. hotnewton 06-26-2008, 05:42 AM im not a nutritional expert or even have any sort of diet plan. i've managed to gain about 15lbs in the last 14 months and bf % has stayed the same, so i may be doing something right, accidentally. showoff basowns 06-26-2008, 05:43 AM As for the fibre... yeah.
