I can't tell you how to fix a torn MCL besides rest it as much as possible. If you have strong legs (muscular) than you should be fine.
My brother played basketball and fucked around with me for weeks when he tore his ACL and MCL.
He has done so twice to each leg and somehow he carried on.
He is like 5'6 165 pounds of pure muscle, so his legs had plenty of support. It all depends on how you feel man, there is no secret trick, just don't push yourself if it doesn't feel right, but it is certainly possible.
Best of luck with your recovery brother, I fucking hate knees.

no insurance so doctors out, but i fucked it up cuz i had the guy mount and he tries to buck me off and his hip lands on my ankle and it bent it and twisted my knee like a heel hook, it was weird.

You're probably better off not competing. I competed against a kid who was actually just recovering from a torn MCL. His one leg was so out of shape. It had no muscle definition or anything. Anyways, the kid backed up from me for about 2 minutes, I got impatient and shot a blast double. He screams, and I get off him. Not only did he tear his MCL again, he also tore his ACL this time. Takes him 5 months to recover. Point being, if you are unsure whether or not you should compete, chances are that you shouldn't. A stupid mistake could cost you close to half a year of training.

Also, a lot of guys have fought with "torn" MCL's in the past and they will be quick to point out how it was a tear and not call it a sprain.
Basically, a sprain is a slight tear, so you could very easily have something that would likely be diagnosed as a sprain despite truly having a partial "tear" of the MCL.
I couldn't tell you though, and you should definitely go see the doctor just to get some informative feedback. Still, if a doc says you can't compete it might not be true, you just gotta find out the severity of the tear.
If this is truly important to you, you may be able to compete. If this is something you can do again in a little while, you may want to wait.

you might not have tore your mcl. it might just be a capsule thing or u might just have fluid in your knee

when I poped mine I was walking with a cane for month and not training for two. You have to be the judge. A couple knee braces and some arnica gel couldn't hurt.
