so im in the market for a new gi right now im leaning toward this koral one



but my question is wats the deal with lucky gi's and why are they so expensive and more importantl is it worth it?

They are extremely heavy and very over priced from what i've been hearing... they sure look great though.

Don't get a lucky. Overpriced, and overrated. You can't go wrong with a Koral. Also check out Padilla and Sons at www.matrat.us. I recently bought a Gameness pearl, and Ouano lightweight, and I'm very pleased with both. Just my two cents.

OTM Medieval gis are pretty damn great! I don't own a lucky, but if i were to go and buy another gi , I would probobly go with the OTM. It's lightweight, durable, fits great and it looks pretty cool.

Lucky GI's are like rare baseball cards. Every year, they only make so many. Once they sell out, tough shit. You might be able to find some on ebay, or other MMA/martial arts online stores.

I coldwashed it four times, left it on the line for a week and then bashed it against the side of the house for ten minutes.

Now it's loose as a goose, and slightly less BLUE

Any ranked tournaments, IBJJF events, or any other official tournaments usually require you to wear an all white, or all blue gi.
