I saw it tonight. I'm not sure why, but for some reason, leading up to this movie I convinced myself it was gonna be good. M Nyght hasn't been that great lately, but for some reason I thought this movie would be different. Of course I saw it tonight, and it was just terrible. The acting was bad, but thats not even the worst part, its the dialogue. it was soooo bad. And like, there was no twist, the plot to the movie was the same as the speculation from a character in like the first 20 minutes. Dumb!

I liked it.It wasn't the best,but M Night hasn't been getting a fair shake imo.It's like people go in expecting a twist and when it doesn't happen or it's not on par with the 6th Sense,it sucks.

It ranked third on my list behind Signs and Unbreakable.I ranked it above The Village and Lady in the Water.I don't include Sixth Sense bc I didn't see that movie for a really long time and right before I was going to watch it,my gf pretty much told me what the deal was.The bitch.lol

Thankyou, I can't fucking stand it when stories are spoonfed to you, or when people just walk up and reveal plot without any convincing exchance of dialogue to justify it.

Thats just shitty writing and one of the first things you go over when taking any sort of creative writing class.


Don't spoon feed people, make slight references and let them figure it out. Actions > Words.

this movie was not bad...if any other director/writer put his name on it people wouldnt be so harsh. yeah Night is a pompus ass but this movie was ok. i'd give it a 6.5 out of 10. and the acting wasnt as bad people are saying, its an understated movie w/ subdued acting, whats wrong w/ that?
go to ebert & roeper's(phillips) website and watch their review, they disagree on the movie but make vaild points on both sides.
this guy fucked up by making his best movie 1st, he will be judged on that standard for the rest of his career.
i might get killed here but i recommend it
