first off it was an amazing movie.

but something doesn't make sense to me:
Why was babe interrogated? He didn't know anything, and after escaping, Szell went and got the diamonds anyway. What did he want from babe? Am I missing something? I have to knno, it's killing me!!!!!!!!

his brother (Roy Schieder) could have told him if there were agents waiting for him at the bank. That's why he kept asking,"is it safe?"
