Seriously, what kind of shit is that? No way to treat one of the greatest fighters of all time.

Seems like the IBHOF opperates with the same philosophy as the majority of the boxing world, "maximize profits, to hell with the athletes".

Instead of forcing legends into a room to sign a countless amount of merchandice to support "the hall", maybe they should recognize the fact that boxing has no pension plan and maybe some of that money should go to the guys who sacraficed their health to the sport.

I've heard other shady stories about their opperations as well, including making Tony Lopez pay for his "won" trip to the IBHOF ceremony.

Props to Larry for standing up to these crooks.

This may not be as clear cut as I once thought, apparently Holmes might have been acting like a dickhead too...which he tends to do from time to time. (His actions after his fight with that Rocky fella were hilarious.)

Holmes was a great fighter, I wouldn't argue too much about the all time list as long as he made 3-5, but he has always been a fuckhead, that was a big part of his game. He always tried to psych himself up and psych his opponent out.
Still loved him as a fighter, not so much as a person.
