All of the new age movement crap comes from Satanic and Freemason authors (see Sitchin and Acharya S.) and is indeed a repackaged version of the mystery religion just like Mormonism.

In fact the Temple of Set http://www.xeper.org/ (an off shoot of Levay's Church of Satan) was founded by non other than Dr. Michael A. Aquino head of the CIA MKULTRA program.
