PDA Question

I just bought a PDA (Qtek 9090) from Paraguay and the menu is in Portuguese. I was told that it's not possible to change the OS language to English but have heard that some people managed to do it.
The procedure is taht you need an English ROM (which I downloaded already) but my PDS refuses to update because of the language difference. It says "country error".


Does anyone know where or how to change the language?

You should contact Qtek.

I did and they told me that I can not change the OS language. The advised me to try get the unit refunded from where I bought it; which will be hard since I will not be visiting South America any time soon.

I have spent so much time searching for information the past two days on this topic with little to no luck and funny thing is that plenty of people seem to have that problem.
