Pretty stupid he let Kimbo eat punches/elbows for 90 seconds to end the round, but couldn't give Vera another 15 seconds.

Werdum's punches were harder than Thompson, but Vera was defending a lot better than Kimbo.

You guys gotta let me in on the Marquardt fight, I'm reading a pbp and it sounds like he was the better man in all 3 rounds. How were those point deducts?

First one was fine, it was clearly an illegal knee.

Second one looked bs. The elbows appeared to be to the side of the head. But he also could have had a point taken away for the illegal spike on Thales head (pile driver) so it evens out.

Well it's still not often a point is taken for a knee to the groin, unless it was intentional or happened again after a warning. Spikes never get penalized, although they are illegal so I guess a spike and possible strikes to the back of head should get a point, assuming it was a true spike to the head. Anyhow it just sounded like Marquardt was the noticably better man yet ended up losing. Did anyone boo?
