- After the departures of Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, WWE are no longer recruiting "great athletes" that were no fans of the business growing up. Management feels that if wrestling "isn't in your blood" then wrestlers would grow to hate the business and leave, like Lashley and Lesnar.

- Ric Flair will be back on WWE TV in the near future to promote his new DVD. The DVD will include footage of 1972 of the Verne Gagne training camp and clips from the last weekend of his career.

- NBC has cancelled the Dateline special of the year after Chris Benoit's death. Nancy's friends refused to participate and there's a lack of people willing to comment on air regarding the Benoit tragedy.

I kind of understand where the wwe is looking at in avoiding 'great athletes' but just saying that is fucking stupid.Maybe if they made conditions better for all the wrestlers in general, they'd be able to recruit and keep more people.

People wouldn't grow to hate the industry if the industry wasn't such a backstabbing, screwjob, drug promoting, scum bucket, insecure fuckjob of a industry.

So, they'll turn down talented people because of a fear they might leave eventually? That kind of thinking will take pro wrestling back to the top in about the year two thousand and never.
