Phoenix Sends First Photos From Martian Arctic Surface

PASADENA, California -- The Phoenix Lander has successfully transmitted a series of photographs from the arctic surface of Mars.

The pictures show the solar panels have deployed fully. Without the solar panels the lander would have run out of power within a few hours. Other photos show Martian terrain and a lander foot pad.

i remember when i was in elementary school i watched a video that said around 2009 they would finish designing a craft to fit this:
send these space crafts to mars. the craft would contain a little bio-dome for plants. fthey would fly to mars, make fuel from chemicals in mars' atmosphere that we dont need to sustain life, then come back and leave the bio-dome of plants there on a some self sustaining system to keep them alive. rinse and repeat.

the idea is take bad(bad for us) shit outta the atmosphere, and pump it with oxygen from plants. forcing a habitat for us
