my dad has a 7.2 MP Casio EX-Z750. it's a couple years old, but the video mode is literally DVD quality. 720x480 res @ 30 FPS. i have a Vivitar ViviCam 5386 which is a 5.0 MP which takes fantastic pictures, but the video mode leaves something to be desired. it only does 320x240 video @ 15 FPS, but it's still over all a nice cam and cost only $100 a year ago. the worst thing about my vivitar is that it doesn't take a rechargable battery pack, so you'd better have a whole case of AA's in your camera bag if you plan to use it a lot. my grand dad's fujifilm is pretty sweet. 8.2 MP with DVD video quality like the Casio.
you can buy rechargeable AA's to use in it, but you're gonna be pulling em out for charging constantly.
if you really want to make sure you get good videos, always check for resolution specs of at LEAST 640x480 @ 30 frames/sec in movie mode.
the casio can record about 2 hours of video on a blank 1 GB card.
