The computer effects and races were absolutely mind-blowing and beautiful. The story was kind of all over the place, but I think had some good messages and plenty of twists and turns.

Ricci looks so gorgeous, and Emile actually was ok as Speed.
Overall, I thought it was a very entertaining movie and it's kind of a shame that it's been doing so terrible at the theater.

Visually I thought Speed Racer was way better than Transformers. And the story was not nearly as gay and childish as Transormers either. Michael Bay is a giant douche bag who makes terrible movies and thinks mindless action sequences can make up for a complete lack of plot.

Yeah check it out...It's a really weird movie and I may have just liked it cuz I was trippin balls and it looked fantastic on the IMAX.

But I have a feeling I would have enjoyed it with a "normal" perspective as well.

I would have watched this if it was made by some Japanese, otherwise its too cheesy for me
