it boggles my mind how chuck won that fight, sobral charging at him swinging, chuck running backwards with his hands not protecting his face at all, sobral trying to somewhat shoot/grab chuck, then bam that uppercut dropped him ...

damnit i love bablu and didnt want to see the fight go like that ... sorry chuck fans, i just really dont like seeing him win fights

I was very impressed by the fact that Chuck was backpedaling while getting hit, I though that Babalu was doing great, but then Chuck made one of the most beautiful counterpunches ever. I really want to see him fight Wandy now.

me neither. i havent seen the fight yet. but i dont know....i dont really like chuck. i realize and accept that he's bad ass but....for some reason im not a big fan of his.

I sure Babalu's gameplan wasn't to get dropped like that. You could see right before he got uppercutted he was trying a shot. Chuck just saw it coming and threw the perfect punch. Damn he punches hard. I think Babalu made the mistake of thinking he had Chuck hurt with those 2 punches he landed but Chuck was fine.... Obviously.

yeah, im the same way, i really cant deny the fact that chuck is great, i mean he has really proved it, but i still dont like him, and i still cant get away from the feeling that some of his biggest wins have been semi-flukes, where he got somewhat lucky with his KO's. I feel like some of his biggest KO's have been maybe a 5 to 1 shot of it actually working out for him, but in every case he hit the 1 with a lot of luck

but god forbid that he goes against a great boxer or striker, he would get murdered.IMO!

oh come on now, wen is chuck gonna get the respect he deserves? i think he wud do jus fine against a striker, exspecially wandy. im sorry guys i like silva but i jus dont think, if came in with his normal gameplan against chuck, things wud go well for him. but the fight cud go either way. i jus think chuck is an awesome counterpuncher, no body knocks people out in the fashion he does. and they r no flukes damnit!

see the beauty about chuck is hes a counter fighter... not only does that mean counter punching. but it also means, if the guy is a great standup fighter and chuck dosnt think he can go toe to toe with his striking, he can take the fight to mat if needed... he is still an excellent wrestler, and wrestling is one of those things that if you have a great base, you will never lose that ability to stay balanced and stay in control.

I think Babalu made the same mistake Randy made, they thought they had Liddell when he was backing up, and than Chuck countered and knocked them off there feet, causing an early victory. Which sucks because now all I hear is people calling Babalu a can.

yeah i know, and babalu is a damn good fighter, i mean he fought dan henderson, kevin randleman, and fedor to decisions, but gets KOed by lead foot liddel in 95 seconds??? what is that????
