Badr Hari? Hes only like 208 without cutting weight and he wrecks shop striking. If he was a master at cutting he might even be able to drop to 185 and kill Anderson Silva.

I don't remember where I got the 208 from - hes like 220. I was probably a little fucked up and got him mixed up with somebody but I don't know who.

For the record he has 64 wins 51 by KO and 6 losses 4 by KO and will be fighting again at the end of the month at K-1 Scandinavia MAX 2008

Bonjasky is also a possibility for this title.

i think that the best p4p striker in general must know how to defend kicks (meaning not a boxer) and on the other hand cant use too many kicks (esp. low ones and push kicks) since it might be a problem in mma.

3 fighters comes to my mind: gomi, anderson silva, and manhoef.

cung le could be among them if he will defeat a good grappler who is actually planning on going to the ground with him.

if i have to pick only one i'll go with silva.

People on the Shoes should try to read a little more info.K1 forum, the only answer so is Manhoef. And I almost agree,But I would give him 2nd place.Buakaw takea the cake.

buakaw's style will never work in MMA.he uses too many push kicks and left middle kick.it works great in k1 and traditional MT,and he will prolly kill any boxer he'll fight but once takedowns and ground work are possible he will be in trouble.

as i said, when you are trying to find the best striker in general it is much harder since no one really made it in boxing,MT/k1 and mma altogether.

silva will probably make it in the k1 ring if he would like that and manhoef is one of the best strikers in mma.

buakaw is awesome, but he can't make it in mma imo.

idk about the best striker in k-1, but one of the most impressive p4p fighters that come to mind, would be andy hug...

hard to say for the max circuit since the majority of competitors are generally around the same height & weight, but if i had to choose, id go with either masato or souwer...

I also recall him dropping big Bob Sapp like a tonne of bricks with a wicked leftrip.

Repped - I said Hari also... He's fighting dudes that are generally 30 lbs or more heavier than he is and he still delivers devastating KO's. Knee's, punches and kicks are all very technically sound and delivered with malicious intentions

hari is a good fighter, one of very few technical fighters in the HW division, but he hasnt fought enough and hasnt really proved himself against the top guys.his win\lose ratio against the top guys out there is about 50:50.he need to get some wins against bonjasky, aerts,HMC,JLB or at least some of them.i'm not even talking about schilt.
the only one who can take him now is aerts imo.

Other than Bonjasky all those dudes are 30 lbs or more heavier than Hari - Some nearly a 100. Thats why we're doing PfP here.

shame that kaoklai doesnt boast a more impressive win column in his stats bc hes fought a shitload of opponents who outweighed him more than they did badr... some wins were won due to decision, a few he won via dec & him koing mighty mo was nothing less than spectacular...

true, but as long as he fights in the HW division, the only way we can deduce about his skills is through wins over the top dogs.heavier or not.

you can't claim that he is a better fighter p4p than sower or buakaw just because he looked great against doug viney.graham and leko were solid wins but i dont think they can match p4p to buakaw, masato, kraus and drago which sower has defeated at the LW division.

as for what dragonfly wrote, when i say p4p i do it according to the fighter's division and not his actual weight.at the UFC it will be much more accurate (as accurate as these rankings can be...),in the k-1 HW division - much less.

still, the only way to compare between fighters of different divisions is through their wins and the way they perform within the division they fight imo.

samart doesn't fight anymore and hasn't fought in over a decade i think. hes more of a variety show guy now. he sings....

there were so many greats that you can't say who is the best of all time but lb for lb fighting right now its seanchai sor kingstar. he is usually the smaller fighter so he has to rely on technique rather than pure power. there are people that beat him such as namsaknoi but i don't think namsaknoi fights anymore.
