I remember the Judo class I went to for like 3 lessons there was little kids who would throw adults

well, i felt bad for the guy.... cuz this was supposed to be his belt advancement

and even tho im an "offical" brown belt at another judo gym, me and my buddy (now that were working in SB valley) wanted to start fresh.

i felt bad for the guy, cuz i handled him and he felt like a bitch. they still gave him his belt tho. lol

Nice throw - how much grappling do you guys do once it goes to the ground? You landed in good position to work your subs from....

my other gym was pure judo..

this is a grappling gym, full on subs once you hit the floor.

I think I would only be interested in judo without the gee.

yes, a lot of those guys are VERY well versed in grappling and wrestling

most of the guys can get to guard and still manage to sub me, my wrestling skills are GOOD, but i need to learn how to stay busy in the guard.

i need a lot of work on passing guard.. but from the side control i can mount most of the guys at the gym with ease and get into a position to fuck them

he threw a sucker punch that landed on my chin, i closed my eyes for a second and saw another one coming, from there i just got low and shot for a leg and just side slammed the guy to the street. i got the last laugh.

i dont take judo anymore, its on to BJJ for me now, Judo is what i do to the unknowning.

Are you having more trouble breaking the closed guard or actually getting out once you do have it broken? When you say "Stay busy" do you find that you are stalling to avoid being subbed or you just need more tools to get to a dominant position?

great question, i appreciate the feedback too by the way.

ill advoid the part abouting fucking my training partner... for obvious reason. :-p

yah im horrible at passing guard unless its butterfly in which i WAIT for a sweep and actually egg a sweep on to pass, passing guard tho i just do it the old fasion way... sit back and elbow their thighs untill i open them up, pretty barbaric, but it works on some people.

yah im not too versed in subs yet, i know basic and intermediate. but i can defened the subs pretty good. im a good wreslter, not a good ju-jitsu guy yet, im still knew to the sub game, but i can hang. so its not the dominate position, its more the technique, i know what to do but i dont have the finese that ju-jitsu requires. im more of a ground and pounder.

but im starting to devolope my toold.... my new trainers praised me at the last test. of course i went on to tell them i had previous experiance, but i like the gym im going to now, its very friendly and are small fast guys, so its PERFECT for trying to work on your speed.

The UFC is very cautous not to get any more teeth knocked out (Karo vs. Diego). They trip any time a mouthpiece falls out.
