strength really doesnt matter in judo right?
thats what my coaches keep telling me but i feel like thats whats most other peeps are using...inono...jus wonderin wat u all think
I take it you just started, focus on technique and you'll become less dependent on strength.

Your grip strength is very important.

I'v seen Dave Camarillo ( maybe lbs 150 soaking wet) tossing huge wrestlers around.
focus of throw technique for now. people will get you to start practicing gripping, but you'll only start to focus on it when you get totally owned by a good grip fighter.
