I'll give you guys a full summary..
I have to learn the bows and shit... haha you have to bow to the class when you go in and out of bathroom... its kind of weird and you have to bow to many places... i forget alot of them now lol
Then we do stretches... different kind of stretches than we do in hockey
then we did a kicking bag for about 30 minutes, it felt like i was gonna snap my foot soon haha... we did different kind of kicks every like 2 or 3 minutes... the brown belt there actually said i was a natural and i got my first TKD match in april 28... hopefully i get my gi by then
the last part of class we did no contact sparring, i thought it was weird lol

PS I have a 70 year old woman and came an inch away from roundhouse kicking her in the face with full force.. knocked her on her ass it was so close.. hopefully i dont have to full contact spar with her... i wouldnt feel right breaking a 70 year old grandma's nose

you know except for the sparring fight i had yesterday, i dont know whats going to happen, i never got explained the rules or anything yet, the "test" i had with another student my age was just, headgear and punches and kicks. I'm guessing the tournament would be the same.

i hope its the same because that was so fucking fun, gave him bloody nose lol, by a jab of coarse. after that the instructor stopped the bout cause he didnt want to have any injuries before the tourny

Im only letting my mom video tape my first fight, because i want people to be shocked the little guy won. have my first mma fight then win by TKO first round, then that goes on for 5 more fights, make my UFC debut and i fight Rampage, the next fight after he loses his title and then everybody thinks that fight is a tune up match for his next HUGE fight (AKA hype), nobody gives me a chance, then i drop him in first minute and i win by a 2nd round TKO, then I fight Bonnar who by then is a huge star, I win by a 2nd round flying armbar, then i fight for the title

if you can punch to the face its probably an Open Karate tournament. Point fighting in other words, not Olympic TKD where face punches are banned. I've done TKD (traditional not olympic) since i was 5 but stopped doing tourneys when i turned 18. They are pretty fun but i grew out of that pussy shit when it came time to be a man.

yesterday, my instructor tried to teach us jiu jitsu, he called a kimura a fucking arm bar! he tried to teach us a kimura, he didnt know how to do it right so he said had have to get the jiu jitsu instructor in (they have JJ twice a year in my TKD class, i wasnt there for it, it was 2 months ago)so he TRIED to demonstartate he did it wrong, so i said i know how to do it, so i did it right first try

its weird man, a guy trying to teach me jiu jitsu doesnt know the proper names for moves and he doesnt even know how to do it right, and a fucking WHITE belt on his first month that never took jiu jitsu before actually taught the black belt trying to teach me jiu jitsu

Just give em' a break. After all, it's a TKD class and not a JJ class. Maybe you can continue to contribute JJ knowledge and some of the student will learn from you as well. I'm sure it may get frustrating at times but make the best of it. You get out of it what you put into it. Hang in there

I put everything i have into it man.... but its like everything they teach me i already know (literally and i dont meen to be cocky) on my 1st full contact sparring day (my 3rd class) i literally beat up a blue belt, and it was quite easy for me, hopefully soon we get to the advanced shit

well just keep at it showing up mofo's once you've kicked enuf ass ask them how you can get your next belt and they'll likely test you if you kick ass like that
