My camp focuses primarily on MMA and Jamie handles the amateurs matches and such.
Any suggestions on tournaments on the west coast, or any way to get my feet wet in competition. Fights are hard to find at my weight so I haven't been able to prove to my new coaches what kind of fighter I am yet.

You train at an MMA gym? If you do, leave the MMA gym and sign up at a Amatuer or Pro boxing gym.

Anyways, you have to go to a boxing gym, not just a boxing gym but one that will sign you up to the ABA(Amatuer Boxing Association).
The trainers will get you the fights, take you out and pick someone according to height, weight, experience, etc.
that is the traditional way, I just don't know about this whole MMA ordeal though.

How is that possible? There is alot of people at that weight in the amatuers. Trust me, the trainers will find people. Looking for competition is the trainer's problem, and not yours. They will find someone.
any boxing trainer who has amature fighters in his stable will atleast know a promoter that they work with and should be able to get you a fight if theres someone out there that will fight you, and Thats if they think you're ready which means you probably have to train there for some time just to prove it

boxing is great... and you're only gonna find great trainers at a boxing gym - however you're already a very qualified MMA practitioner. Proper boxing instruction will teach you alot of habits that could cause you trouble in your major sport of choice. Stances - head movement - hand positioning are all different in boxing from MMA. It can teach you great things young padawan but make sure you take the knowledge and put it in the context of your sport where it can be useful.
That being said - Move to Sacramento, its still a big boxing city there - though MMA has now surpassed it in terms of the number of training facilities.
