o ya and btw nirvana rocks shitt!!! ppl dont give them enough credit now-a-days cuz all their fans now are just dumb emo kids who listen to music and give it a bad name. like kurt said in chorus of In Bloom,
"He's the one who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means
Knows not what it means"
im such a huge nirvana fan myself, without a doubt one of my favorite bands even though i too was only a kid when the tragedy with kurt happened. they are one of the few bands who made a style their own, they remade alternitive music and you dont have to like the music as alot of ppl discredit them b/c they werent like Zepplin or Beatles type band in the fact they didnt have a complete package in terms of amazing guitar solos(they played the same chords repeatedly) or a lennon esque voice(though personally i love kurt's voice and how he puts so much emotion into it,he didnt really look to hit or hold high notes or anything). but you have to respect them for the music they made. i think it was actully kurts uniqe voice and lyrics along with the amazing drums and catchy guitar riffs that made the band a hit.their carrer as a band may have been short lived put look how much of an impact they made just in that little time.kurt may have died but nirvana never will.

it was documented as a suicide, but there are alot of holes in the whole thing that lead many ppl to beleive he was killed or someone basiclly "helped" him to OD. i think theres actully a very detailed and good thread in this forum with alot of updated stuff in the investigation.

I like Nirvana but not really a big fan. One of my best friends is obsessed with Nirvana and has been since we were kids. I always have to listen to his nuthugging of Nirvana. He absolutely REFUSES to believe Kurt would kill himself and buys into all the murder conspiracy theories.

Hahaha I think thats where everyone starts, talk to anyone and they'll say the first song they learned was either by Nirvana or Green Day.

I tattooed the singer from Green Day about ten years ago. He was a spineless wanker. Although he did refer his friend Winona Ryder to come get work from me . She was all excited at first " I want some thing that represents my heritage" " what heretage?' " I'm American Indian" " what tribe?' "I think I'll just get a dime sized Chanel symbol on the middle of my forarm
Having been involved in the punk scene in the '80's (Dead Kenedy's ' Agent Orange, Fang, Suicidal Tendencies) I am slightly less then impressed by the MTV powered 'grunge' revival movement of the '90's. The emphasis seems to have switched from " fuck shit up!" to "I'm depressed"

i can agree with that,im not here saying they are musical gods or anything but i think they made a huge impact in the 90's so you gotta give credit where credit is due

a little interesting bit of info, grunge was inducted to the "classic rock" genre by the rock and roll hall of fame, earlier this year sometime i dont remember when exactly. i guess the conditions is for it to be 20 years old, so that means grunge is 20 years old dayum dont seem like all that long ago, clearly i remember picking on the boy.
