Super Cosplay War Ultra. That's a mouthful. Probably the strangest 2d fighter I have ever played. Fortunately, it's very good and it's one of the more original doujin games I have played in awhile. Basically, all the characters in the game are ass kicking amalgamations of popular manga/anime characters from TV, film, etc. Their image changes in correspondence to their moves. So, a simple 3 punch combo looks pretty outrageous. I don't really know how else to describe it. You will either love it or hate it.

The games been out for awhile, but this is the latest version. It has team battle as well as vs. and a single player mode. The moves are fairly easy to learn, but hard to master. The AI starts out pretty easy and then gets to defcon 4 assrape towards the end. You can mess with the game.ini to make the game faster and add rounds if you desire.

If you are a fan of fighting games then I strongly suggest you at least give this one a shot.
