Before Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan took on the celebrity wrestling project, it was reportedly pitched to WWE and TNA. WWE turned down the idea but TNA had several meetings regarding the project. The deal feel through when Spike TV refused to pay the full show budget and Bischoff's company took on the show.

It probably depends on the level of celebrity they get. It will fail big if they don't get some big names or real interesting celebs.

They should get Carrottop.
