- WWE has released developmental talents Silas Young as well as former TNA talent German "Gran Apolo" Figueroa. Young signed a developmental deal in December of 2007 and looks to be a victim of the developmental consolidation. It is believed that Apolo was released due to his recent legal problems. He was arrested and jailed due to missing a court date in Puerto Rico, stemming from a domestic abuse issue.

- Most of the former OVW developmental talent is heading down to Florida Championship Wrestling this week. There are tentative plans to run shows 7-days a week, and there is even the chance that they may run split crews due to the amount of talent that they will have there. FCW officials are currently looking for locations to run the shows, and if this gets off of the ground, it could impact the Florida Independent scene in a big way.
