Whats the best way you guys have found to wrap your hands?

I have a wrist injury from a couple yrs ago while grappling I posted my right arm & one of the big boys rolled right on top of my hand straining wrist ligaments.

I want to be able to hit the bag/pads w/o pain

you want the top of your hand as horizontal as possible on connection of the punch, so try and wrap your hand to work like that

I don't use wraps or gloves for hitting the heavy bag(it's not that heavy but still)
Is that bad?

You can develop chronic wrist problems from hitting a heavy bag without hand wraps.

well it actually depends, you can hit the heavy bag without anything, but how hard are we talking about here?

Little pull back fast non-powerful punches, no you don't need handwraps or gloves. I've seen alot of boxers doing that Wlad, and Kostya to name a couple off the top of my head, but full on technical hard punches, No, you better gets some gloves and handwraps.

Good tips, thanks guys. You should always wrap and protect your hands. If you trash your hands you're screwed.

True it's smart to warm up on a heavy bag with 16/18 oz gloves, before I spar with my teammates in MMA gloves.

Those first couple minutes your arms feel light as feathers.
