Lol, you obviusly have no idea about the subject. If you want to look ripped then grapling isn't the way to go. You have to have proper diet, proper weight training and get some jogging in too. Google for HIIT, it's a good way to burn fat if you want to. Any bodybuilding forum will tell you how to get ripped. Grappling may help, but it's not that effective.

Grappling can only help for working the muscles and keeping them busy. For ripped, low body fat and strength training regime helps.

In a word Yes. Grappling is an activity that burns alot of calories so if you did it for a long enough time and your diet was good enough you would lose fat. Anaerobic exercise burns more calories than aerobic so it would be better to grapple for 10 minutes than jog at a slow pace for the same amount of time. If you are really looking to get ripped you should incorporate things like tabata intervals and a good weight training program(like one of Chad Waterbury's over at T-nation) into your training program. Last piece of advice is that your diet is king and is the most important thing in becoming "ripped."

ya to some extent but it might not be the build you want because the muscle groups are different you may not get the beach body look.

Yes, but you don't want it to be the only workout you do.

Unless you want to be like Fire,

Biceps of a Gorilla
Beer Gut of a Man
Chin of a Superhero
