Celtics have had no areas of weakness and we are still looking to add another PG, and possibly another big. Perkins and Rondo are underrated by many, and we all know what the big 3 can do. The bench is filled with role players, so we can keep one or two of the big 3 on the court at all times, and Eddie House can score with anyone. Tony Allen is a hot and cold guy, but he always brings the D and hustle (if healthy). Big Baby is a huge presence in the front court, as he uses his bulk and finesse to be able to effectively guard nearly anyone (surprisingly). Leon Powe has even impressed as of late, as he relies on his hustle and power as well as decent athleticism that allows him to throw down power dunks on occasion.

Sam Cassell is always a possibility for that backup PG spot, and if people think guarding Chauncey is a huge issue in the playoffs, well, maybe it is... but Tony Allen can certainly guard him as well as most PGs in the league if it comes down to it.

If the Spurs are healthy and motivated, you are probably right.
Cavs have done well against us, but keep in mind KG was out the last time we played and Pierce had the flu. Not exactly a premier Celts team. I like Bynum, and he is extremely valuable, but I think he probably only makes up the difference between guys like Ray and Paul and Pao and Lamar. Posey is great off the bench and is glue for this team.

Both the Lakers and Celts are now in positions to succeed. I think they both have a chance to win their respective conferences, but obviously the Celts have an easier path being in the East.

All I know is that the Celtics have plenty of offensive options and behind Coach Thibodeux they are playing some of the best defense in the L. Not too shabby.
