Conspiracy theorists have long spoken of the Illuminati, believed to be a secret society with ties to the Freemasons who have been the power behind the scenes for many of the most important and chaotic events of the past three centuries. While little hard evidence of the existence of the Illuminati has surfaced since the organization was first described in the late 1700s, this documentary attempts to prove that the group not only exists, but are planning a devastating assault upon the world. Angels and Demons Revealed presents the argument that the Illuminati are involved in a widespread plot against the Catholic Church and the Vatican, and have stockpiled unusual weapons in an bid to seize control of the world's governments. (2007), enjoy!!!

Hello the Catholic church is obviously part of things they are one of the richest organizations on the planet. They have also done terrible things in the name of GOD. But if you look into the symbolism behind a lot of the Catholic icons it's pretty fucked up.

The Bavarian Illuminati: The "Insinuating Brothers" of ☉

“Weishaupt . . . proposed as the end of Illuminism the abolition of property, social authority, nationality, and the return of the human race to the happy state in which it formed only a single family without artificial needs, without useless sciences, every father being priest and magistrate. Priest of we know not what religion, for in spite of their frequent invocations of the God of Nature, many indications lead us to conclude that Weishaupt had, like Diderot and d'Holbach, no other God than Nature herself. From his doctrine would naturally follow German ultra-Hegelianism and the system of anarchy recently developed in France, of which the physiognomy suggests a foreign origin.”
- Henry Martin, Histoire de France depuis les temps les plus reculés jusqu'en 1789, XVI. 533. 9

“Do you realize sufficiently what it means to rule - to rule in a secret society? Not only over the lesser or more important of the populace, but over the best of men, over men of all ranks, nations, and religions, to rule without external force, to unite them indissolubly, to breathe one spirit and soul into them, men distributed over all parts of the world? . . . And finally, do you know what secret societies are? What a place they occupy in the great kingdom of the world's events? Do you think they are unimportant, transitory appearances?”
- Adam Weishaupt, Nachtrag von weitern Originalschriften, II, pp. 44, 51. 10

Some quotes from the original. Again this specific name Illuminati came about in the late 1700's in Bavaria. It was out lawed by the government and many arguments can be made as to what happened from there.

Religion is weird IMO.
The idea that some bloke with no qualifications comes along and acts as an authority on esoteric and spiritual knowledge is ludicrous.
L.Ron.Hubbard flunked out of all his University courses but then went on to become worshipped by those who surpassed him in those same courses!
Its amazing how charisma combined with an ability to word concepts in a convincing enough manner that they align with what we want to believe can seduce a seemingly intelligent person into inevitably believing a heap of unsubstantiated nonsense that has in fact come from a source whos motives are built off of meglomania and the resulting lust for adoration, money and power.
