Interesting.Anyone interested in seeing De La Hoya chase Mayweather for 36 minutes again?
Blunt Object 01-17-2008, 07:29 PM i think it def should happen. the win in no way was decisive
Blunt Object 01-17-2008, 07:32 PM "A rematch with De La Hoya (38-5, 30 KOs) would delay Mayweather (39-0, 25 KOs) jumping to mixed martial arts, which he has discussed with "Dancing with the Stars" pal and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who also owns his own MMA promotional company."
i only pray that he tries his hand in MMA and gets destroyed
VENDO 01-17-2008, 11:42 PM NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
This match does not need to happen!
Money hungry bastards!
I'm not watching it, thats for sure. Mayweather Via Dec, once again.
Alekhine_Lord 01-18-2008, 04:20 PM Both fighters are looking for a big payday again like their first fight in which De La Hoya obtained $ 55 mil and Mayweather $ 25 mil ( from Forbes.com)
VENDO 01-18-2008, 07:25 PM Exactly.

nope
Beanflicker 01-18-2008, 11:00 PM Mayweather won decisively the first time, whether Oscar nuthuggers/Floyd haters want to admit it or not. Oscar got Floyd on the ropes and couldn't do shit, just like Hatton. What's he going to do differently this time around?
I would watch it again but Floyd should be fighting Cotto and ODH should fight Mosley again
jomomma 01-20-2008, 11:22 PM it wont go any different, why people pay to see dlh lose baffles me
ODH is just a tune up fight until we get to see Cotto/Mayweather
Beanflicker 01-21-2008, 02:00 AM I hate this because there is always that slim chance that DLH will land a good shot and win the fight, or get a bullshit decision because he's the Golden Boy.
FLoyd is the #1 guy, if someone is going to beat him, let it be an up and coming potential superstar like Cotto. DLH's old ass is going to be retiring any time now. Waste of time, make Cotto vs Mayweather happen.

you would be pissed if you didnt watch thats why ill watch
mg_productions 01-21-2008, 03:20 AM It's funny because Mayweather wants no piece of Cotto and apparently niether does De La Hoya.So whoever wins....still won't fight him.Frankly,Paul Williams would kick all three of their asses.Too bad he can't get on 'Dance with Stars.'
WelshDevilRob 01-27-2008, 07:14 PM Can't really see the point in doing this fight again from a boxing point of view. Money is the only reason this fight will be made. The 1st fight was hardly thrilling.
prodigy 02-05-2008, 02:52 AM that was a good fight i would want to see it aging WAR MAYWEATHER!!!
Beanflicker 02-05-2008, 05:18 PM Well there is one good thing about this fight being made, right now at WW you got a ton of guys floating around, Cotto, Cintron, Margarito, Williams, ect. Maybe in the time that it takes for Mayweater/DLH 2 to happen, a solidified #1 contender will emerge to challenge Floyd if he wins.
We got Margarito vs Cintron comin up in 2 months, Williams is fighting in a couple of days, Cotto fighting in a couple of months I think, lets let those 4 guys fight it out to see who gets the shot at Mayweather
jomomma 02-10-2008, 09:19 PM well looks like carlos quintana just complicated things & set himself up for a big money fight
mayweather wins by ko this time.hatton had the style to beat mayweather but couldnt cotto would go the same way as hatton. mayweathers a prick, but hes also unbeatable at this time.
