There's so much more to an exotic than just speed, dumbass. Any idiot can go out there and rice up a car that can out do any exotic. An exotic is a work of art. Designs by Pinafarina and other makers are just gorgeous. Along with the beautiful scream of a Ferrari engine is just unmatched.

i've seen that. yeah, the Z06 is a fantastic machine. if i tried to do that shit in my Mustang GT, i'd be killed before the end of lap 1.

the essence of american cars like the mustang, camaro, and even the viper is "get from one stop light to the next wayyy faster than the guy next to you" but once you throw in any decent turns, crash! yer car is totalled.

GM got smart with the corvette and it is good to great in all areas, while still affordable. a 2004 mustang cobra will drive in a straight line about as fast as the Z06, but the chassis is much weaker, the brakes are not as good, and just the all around handling while leave it destroyed against a vette on a real track like in that video.
