this is cheap.. AND high quality with no artificial sweetners... the only let down i can read about is it gets really bad "taste" reviews.. =)

parker 01-06-2008, 02:15 PM iv tried many proteins i find the BSN syntha6 protein the best . especially for taste
kermitthefrayer 01-06-2008, 05:31 PM Branch chain amino acids are what you need to repair muscles.
hotnewton 01-06-2008, 06:13 PM Protein Powders are more for ease of use than anything else... you can get more than enough protein from diet alone, but it's tough to choke down a couple chicken breasts after a hard workout...

I get the same one. Have never tried vanilla, but both chocolate and strawberry aren't bad.

It does taste like shit but if you mix it with this
http://bodybuilding.com/store/et/earth.html
it tastes great
that way I get my protein plus I dont have to worry so much about getting my veggies throughout the day
I also mix in glutamine and and fiber, I heard you shouldnt mix fiber with protein because the protein will stick to the fiber but fuck it I dont want to have to take my shit twice a day instead of once
jomomma 01-06-2008, 11:09 PM Designer protein was founded by an olympian and is great for athletes, a track teammate turned me on to it.
you can download a free sample coupon http://www.designerwhey.com
I've also used the labrada protein pro-v60 and like the taste/results of both
Blunt Object 01-06-2008, 11:47 PM whey/soy protein is good
mastamatt 01-22-2008, 09:12 AM Out of all the supps it's one of the few that's 100% trusted and effective. ON is a great brand for pure whey. Make sure you know what you're taking cause some have creatine and other things mixed in. Great way to assist in gaining muscle and lessening fatigue. If you're trying to gain muscle/weight use it as a meal supplement versus a meal replacement.
Also casein protein is a type of slow-digesting protein that can be used before you go to bed, etc. to make sure your muscles have more nuitrition while you sleep/while they grow.
Hope that helps.
MildernhardPark 01-22-2008, 09:36 AM Thanks!!
mastamatt 01-23-2008, 03:25 AM np not very long ago I was wonderin the exact same shit so I'm always glad to help out. Also if you want more help try joining the bodybuilding.com forums. Radar 01-24-2008, 10:26 PM The stuff made by Biotest is delicious and low-carb.
jetjaguar 01-25-2008, 02:14 AM whey is one of the cheapest and easiest to digest sorces of protien. I suggest getting in 25 or 50 lbs boxes from these guys

Just Like Krazy Horse..
jomomma 01-25-2008, 07:25 PM I think celltech hardcore is a straight creatine product not whey protein to clear tha up
Category5D 01-26-2008, 10:07 PM 2lb's a day on Cell tech, that's almost comical, sounds like there advertisements. It's creatine, good luck putting on 2lbs a day on steroids.
nativeprodigy 01-27-2008, 02:08 AM Im getting whey protein or creatine w/e next week, is there any side affects? I've never taken a supplement in my life cause im afraid it would make my dick smaller.
jomomma 01-27-2008, 04:24 AM what's your goal taking creatine w/o a legit vitamins, minerals & carbs kinda defeats the purpose b/c you'll need them to build muscle.
depending on what you're doing and how you eat meal replacements, protein or creatine supplements may be the best fit
