Anyone know about this game? So far it is going to be on the PS3 and I think the 360.

There has been absolutely no news about the game since that trailer was released. I thought Dana's spot on the Video Game Awards should have had some new stuff on the game, instead he announced something pretty much everyone already knew.

On a side note though, I did see that Joe Lauzon had some pictures on his MySpace of his face being graphed for a "video game".

This game really needs a create a fighter mode. It would be awesome if you could choose what camps to work with to improve your technique selection.

actually it should come out winter 08. it'll be like the sports games like madden 08 comes out in 07 and shit.

i hope the controls are fluid i mean theres so much more to worry about then a boxing games controls.

sudden impact's controls were pretty good imo. They were blatently based on the tekken control config, which is something you can't really go wrong with.

If the rest of the game wasn't such a let down, it would have been one of the greats. Unfortunately, the champion mode, create a fighter mode(while interesting, it was too proscribed in your choices and in length), the training mode and the legend mode all sucked so fucking much.

But the gameplay you can't criticise really. You could duck under huge overhand rights, sprawl, submit, escape, pass guard, sweep, jab away, kick, press against the cage, use the cage for takedowns, pretty much anything that happens in a cage. All very intuitive. Altho the boston crab was included as a mount escape :-(

I could care less about the flashy graphics as long as it's got good fluid gameplay and several different, in-depth modes of play and definatly a create-a-character mode.

yeah I also hope that they come out with this for the WII. They have WWE wrestling games on the WII so I really hope that it comes out for the wii. That will be hard for them to make gameplay for it, but if they can get it right it would be a lot of fun.
