um..all i know is that, the guy from Ong Bak uses it.

and also that they hardley use the clinch, its more of being able to maneuver and not get hit.

muay thai is sick!

it's thai boxing. allows elbows, knees, headbutts, punches, & other kicks.

it's wanderlei silva's style & mauricio "shogun"'s apart from brazilian jiu jitsu.

look at wandy and you'll get a better idea of muay thai

NO man muay boran is totally different since muay thai, i practice mostly muay thai but i've lots of friends that fight in muay boran. These 2 arts are very different. Muay boran has a different guard position, you don't have gloves but just nude hands or bendages not more, you have different tecquinches, is more dangerous than muay thai.

they are not really muay thai fighters. they are more tkd fighters who use the clinch....
I am not a personal fan of muay boran. they use a lot of techniques that are lim long based and i think they are not practical
