Chickenjorge 08-25-2006, 11:12 AM muay thai is sick! it's thai boxing. allows elbows, knees, headbutts, punches, & other kicks. it's wanderlei silva's style & mauricio "shogun"'s apart from brazilian jiu jitsu. look at wandy and you'll get a better idea of muay thai The Glove 08-25-2006, 03:21 PM I think that modern Muy Thai is as practical as it gets. ninjashoes 08-26-2006, 03:06 AM its all about the training methods Im thinking weeb 08-26-2006, 08:37 PM like ong bak lol? vashthestampede 09-18-2006, 10:20 AM NO man muay boran is totally different since muay thai, i practice mostly muay thai but i've lots of friends that fight in muay boran. These 2 arts are very different. Muay boran has a different guard position, you don't have gloves but just nude hands or bendages not more, you have different tecquinches, is more dangerous than muay thai. I am not a personal fan of muay boran. they use a lot of techniques that are lim long based and i think they are not practical vBulletin® v3.7.4, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. |
