- Paul Burchill and Stu Sanders defeated Colt Cabana and Hammer at last night's OVW TV tapings to win the OVW Tag Team Titles. Other notable names in action were Matt Sydal, Katie Lea, James Curtis, Atlas DaBone and WWE superstar Drew McIntyre, among others.
- A new wrestling reality series called "The Bussey Bunch" will begin airing on the TLC network on 1/22. The show follows the lives of The Bussey Family, who promote the Professional Championship Wrestling promotion in Arlington, TX. TNA superstar Lance Hoyt will be featured on the show as he got his start with PCW and still competes there and helps train the new talents. WWE Diva Search 2007 contestant Jessica Hatch also may be appearing on the show, depending on final cuts of footage.
The promotional blurb for the show goes like this: "The series follows a Texas family as they run a premier wrestling league that is poised to replicate the success of the McMahons with the WWE."
