i herd there is a way to do it using Nero 7 but i haven't figured it out

mine broke a couple years ago (disc reading laser got fucked up somehow) and we just got a new one. i think i'm gonna take the old one and stick a hard drive in it so i can still use it.

EA games are difficult to burn. They need a patch, Download the iso image, patch it, google will aid you in finding the patch as well as installing the memory card exploit. If you cant find the memory card exploit I'll make an image of it. If you have a fat ps2 thats pretty much the only way (as in only I mean best) to install cogswap. After that you'll need to make your own slide card (google or you tube) and after that I'll explain the rest. Or just get a 40 gig or more hdd and install that and buy Hdloader (advanced) and use the swap method to install "backups".

Did you try adjusting the cog in the laser or doing a laser pot tweak?
