yeah, what somebody like Bill doesnt understand is that there is a big difference between evolution and Darwinian evolution (Darwinism). Anything besides instant creation deals with evolution, evolution is a very broad term. That question should have been worded very differently to give the candidates a fair shot at answering it. Darwinism, which adheres to a naturalistic/materialistic philosophy implies that there is no God and we all stem from one common ancestor that was randomly created hundreds of millions (possibly billions) of years ago. The word evolution in itself implies no such thing, and not believing in Darwinism does not imply the belief in creationism. There are about 4-5 different creation stories in the Bible, just pick up any Bible and read Genesis chapter 1 and then read 2. They are both creation stories that completely contradict eachother, so when someone tells me they believe in the story of creation in the Bible I have to ask them, "Which one?" Those stories are simply creation myths written by people probably around the 10th century BCA to explain the world as they saw it, any scholar of Hebrew Scriptures will say the same (regardless how religous they are or what religion they adhere to). Intelligent Design fits with both science and Christian/Jewish theology perfectly because we know how to interperet the Bible now and currently science holds absolutely no explanation for the creation of the universe or the creation of life on earth. The Miller Experiment has been showen faulty, Darwin's tree has been obliterated by the fossil record and the Cambrian Explosion completely defies darwinism, and the Big Bang still leaves the question "what caused the Big Bang?" Some explanations have been presented such as quantum fluctuations but these havent been given much if any credibility because one has never been observed, and they are not likely to even exist in reality.

I agree with Huckabee, WE DON'T KNOW. No human brain will ever understand where we came from and/or why because the fact is we are to stupid. Try to teach you cat how to clean a gun, same difference. I have to give Mike alot of credit for going on that douchebags show he had to know the only reason for having him on was to make him look like another conservative Christian moron.
