Hmmm...don't know about all that. Will try, though.

Have fun landing in guard majority of the time. I guess I could see it working against someone who isn't very good, but no way will that work on someone who has good defense.

Also why doesn't he just go for the armbar? He already has the arm hooked and he brings his right knee behind the guys head, if he brought it over he'd have it.

its a nice tricky move to use in competition to gain points and possibly get the submission. good post.

Well, "effective" or not, it's always good to have as many tricks up one's sleeve as possible. Thanks for the post.

I was thinking this as well. The majority of the time your opponent won't just lay there while you climb around to his back. It's a nice looking move but I'd venture to guess the majority of the time all you're doing is creating a scramble in which your opponent will swivel his hips around (since there's nothing holding them in place) and will end up in your guard.

I'll try it out, though. Looks pretty.

I can't see this working. I hate all that fancy shit.

I've been trying it out with mixed success. It's fun, and looks really nice, but so far all I've been doing is creating an unnecessary scramble from mount and usually just end up with my opponent in full guard. Just gotta drill it I guess to maintain their hip position.

Anyone with good bumps from the bottom this shit isn't going to work.
