Episode 2 is the Best shooter ever made, Portal is a revolution to the puzzle genre, and Team Fortress 2 is a great multiplayer component of the package and probably the best class based shooter I've ever played.

Oblivion is a 2007 game if you bought the recent expansion version that hit last month for the PS3. My personal vote goes for Halo 3.
