80gig ps3 heating up??

I just purchased a ps3 80gig less than a week ago, do i have anything to worry abut as far as it heating up or burning out on me?

I have heard a few claims but the general concensus is that the PS3 does not overheat.

I would place it on its side and give it plenty of room to breathe anyway just to prolong its life.

i heard when they first came out the biggest flaw it had was the casing, the shape of the casing didnt let air flow properly or something like that.

i just got the same one. my biggest problem is how much dust the thing attracts. its like a dust magnet of sorts.

The 80g is fucking badass. PS3 is way more reliable than Xbox 3shitty. I wouldn't worry too much.

PS# cools by pushing Air out, so it'll make shit around it hot but not internally overheat. Xbox 360 takes cool air in which is why it has more a problem. Once I had my ps3 and 360 premium locked in a cabinet under a TV and they fought for air eventually leading to my 360 dying completely.
