- If you didn't notice, the wrestler who faced Kevin Thorn on last night's ECW Sci-Fi broadcast was the same guy who played Shawn Michaels on RAW, Jeff Lewis.
- A promo aired last night on ECW's Sci-Fi program for new Superstar Kofi Kingston, who is from Kingston, Jamaica. Kofi has wrestled in WWE's developmental Ohio Valley Wrestling and Deep South Wrestling in the past and most recently in Florida Championship Wrestling.
- As posted earlier in the press release, WWE and the USA Network extended their contract together for two more years, through 2010. The deal includes two specials for the NBC network to air on Saturday nights, which we know are the Saturday Night's Main Event shows. Multichannel News reports that sources familiar with the extension indicate that WWE pinned a license fee increase over the $31 million it is paid annually under the contract that expires at the end of 2008.
- As posted earlier, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch will be returning to WWE on Monday's RAW. This will be her first appearance in a WWE ring in over 9 years. Apparently, WWE had told her they weren't going to advertise her name to appear because they wanted it to be a surprise. Plans obviously changed as WWE.com put her name up yesterday afternoon.
