What is your favorite RPG of 2007? Most of these are 360 games because those are the ones I have played but I will add any other ones from the past year as long as they aren't MMO's.

Eternal Sonata - Great game I am about 10 hours into right now. Very interesting story as well as great music and probably the best cell shaded animation I have seen in a game:

Mass Effect - One of my new favorites, awesome innovative game with some of the best graphics ever:

Two Worlds - Huge open world RPG, with a combination of Oblivion and Diablo style gameplay and miles of beautiful terrain to explore made this worth playing:

Shivering Isles Expansion for Oblivion - Not a full game but over 30 hours of extra Oblivion and a huge new world to explore put it on the list.

Blue Dragon - Didn't actually get to play this except for the demo, will get around to it though:

Odin Sphere - Ps2 game that I didn't play either but I have heard it is pretty good, plus I had to show some other systems some love.

It was slow, but there are way more coming out next year. You still can't dog on some of these games though. Eternal Sonata is the most fun JRPG I have played in awhile and Mass Effect Is just a masterpiece.

i wasnt real impressed with the demo for blue dragon. ive heard good things about odin sphere. mass effect is the game of the decade tho. its everything ive ever looked for in a game, and then some.

Mass Effect is almost perfect, the only thing to me is that it could have had the story mode be a little longer and a few extra side missions. Not that the game is short. It took me 39 hours to do EVERY side mission and beat the game the first play through, and I was pretty thorough about exploring. Hopefully there are some big expansions for it :popcorn:

Put Persona 3 up there, way better then all that but Mass effect.

Also the Witcher deserves a spot.

I have not played Assassins Creed, but it does not look like an RPG to me. I still want to play it but it is too short and doesn't seem to have too many RPG elements that I know of.

Two worlds sucked!

I like Japanese RPGs better than American ones like Mass Effect. I feel more of an attachment to the characters in Japanese RPGs.

I liked Two Worlds, it had its problems but was still a nice huge world to explore.
