I love you!!!!! VENDO 11-29-2007, 07:18 AM poor tyson wont live past the age of 50 I kinda agree. I'm kinda worried about him. if he dies, I will cry. Chickenjorge 11-29-2007, 07:58 AM :pics: Trolly 11-29-2007, 09:39 AM I'm not sure how long he'll live but i'm sure he'll take a few lives by the time he reaches 50 Jim 11-30-2007, 02:48 PM Mikes life been a wild ride. From youngest ever HW worldchamp with millions of dollars to a broke drug addict. Mike singehandidly revived mainstream interest in boxing in the mid-late 80s.The HW division was suddenly alive again for the first time since Alis retirement. Thx for those great early years Mike.. ItBurnzWhenIP 12-01-2007, 07:50 AM Mike is a like a tragic hero from a Shakespearian play... Mike = Hamlet VENDO 12-02-2007, 01:56 AM Ike Ibeabuchi would run through this division we have now if he wasn't insane, and incarcerated. He would run through it just like Iron Mike did in the late 80's. WelshDevilRob 12-03-2007, 06:07 PM Ike Ibeabuchi is the man. Only Lennox would have stopped him. Ike would have run riot on the Klitschkos and ruled. Ah well 'The Hayemaker' is on his way and the titles will return to the spiritual home of boxing - the UK once again. knockkraut 12-03-2007, 06:09 PM :pics: +1 mikebourkefan 12-17-2007, 09:11 AM thanks for all the great memories mike. u made the heavyweight division very exciteing at a time when it was filled with bums till you showed up ninjashoes 12-17-2007, 01:49 PM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ike_Ibeabuchi ke was now one of the most feared heavyweights in the world and was tipped by many to be the next great heavyweight champion but soon Ike began to experience personal problems. He was involved in a bout of air rage soon after the fight with Tua and began to claim he could see demons that would torment him. holy shit he sees demons Beanflicker 12-17-2007, 02:53 PM Ike was good but Wlad would have knocked that n***** unconcious VENDO 12-17-2007, 04:23 PM Ike was good but Wlad would have knocked that n***** unconcious No he wouldn't. The only one that would is Lennox Lewis, and if that. Ike had a crap load of potential. I honestly believe that Wlad would get wrecked brutally by Ike. Beanflicker 12-17-2007, 08:30 PM He had a lot of potential, but lets remember this is a guy that just barely scraped out a win against David Tua and was getting outboxed big time against Byrd before KOing him. He could have been a great one but I dont think he would have been on the level of a Wlad or Lennox goonhand 12-17-2007, 11:23 PM tyson vs fedor after choi beats fedor ofcourse VENDO 12-17-2007, 11:31 PM He had a lot of potential, but lets remember this is a guy that just barely scraped out a win against David Tua and was getting outboxed big time against Byrd before KOing him. He could have been a great one but I dont think he would have been on the level of a Wlad or Lennox Don't forget that a prime Byrd was undefeated at that time, and alot of boxers turned down fights against byrd.. Granted Ike was losing, but in the end he got that brutal KO, It just shows Ike had heart, but anything byrd did against Ike was anything spectacular. and Ike beat Tua, and lets not forget beat him at Tua's OWN game. If Ike would've utilized his reach more he would've gotten possibly imo the tko win over Tua, but he played that pick pocket game against Tua, and won. The only person I can see actually beating Tua at his game is Tyson. Mind you as well that Tua was undefeated as well and at his best, and seemed to be pretty damn near unstoppable. Lennox and Wlad don't really exactly have iron chins, corrie sanders, rahman, Lamon Brewster, Ross Purrity, Oliver Mccall can do it. I don't see why Ike wouldn't. I love Lennox and Wlad though.. Lennox would prolly beat him so can wlad, but I just think Ike had more than enough chance to beat him. Beanflicker 12-18-2007, 03:53 AM Either way, its a shame we'll never know. I saw a pic of him from prison, he got soft as hell VENDO 12-18-2007, 03:53 PM Either way, its a shame we'll never know. I saw a pic of him from prison, he got soft as hell Yep. lol.. he got fat like a mofo. VENDO 12-18-2007, 03:55 PM http://www.ikeibeabuchi.org/biography.php?m=doc&c=8&id=27 Beanflicker 12-18-2007, 04:35 PM I'll never understand that. You're a HW champ, you're rich, you have a muscular body chisled like stone, why do you gotta rape a bitch? I can't see it being that hard to get laid if you're a famous, rich boxer. Same with Tyson. VENDO 12-18-2007, 06:21 PM Thank you exactly! parker 12-19-2007, 12:53 AM he might be out of jail this year and has said he will return to boxing http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=13037&more=1 Beanflicker 12-19-2007, 04:06 AM When Douglas knocked out “Iron” Mike in the 10th round, the young Ike turned to his uncle and said “If Tyson can be beat, anybody can be world champion." Wow, thats one hell of a quote. Goes to show the aura that Tyson had around him at that time. VENDO 12-19-2007, 08:36 AM When Douglas knocked out “Iron” Mike in the 10th round, the young Ike turned to his uncle and said “If Tyson can be beat, anybody can be world champion." Wow, thats one hell of a quote. Goes to show the aura that Tyson had around him at that time. As much as I like Tyson, he was so overhyped. MMAsterkillah 12-20-2007, 04:03 AM When he dies, I will be upset. He is crazy, he is troubled, but he basically just wants to be loved by people he can trust. He can't find anyone he can trust, so he just gets high to escape it. vBulletin® v3.7.4, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. |
