the first shot was really sloppy, i'm you can tell you are a beginner. remember to level change, if you try a shot like that against a good tough guy, you will get sprawled on so hard your face will be smashed into the mat

the best way to fis that is to DRILL!!!!!!! DRILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DRILL!!!!!!!!!!!!

until it become second nature

good job though more people should wrestle this sport is definately my first love

and after you hit that single and lift him switch to two legs to avoid the scramble, this dude you are wrestling is really amature but when you get to the higher levels the guys will not give up the 2 points that easy

you're also waaaaaaaaay too high when you're on top the better guys will come out the back door or start head hunting and stick you

that last shot was not the most technical but it was very solid. you are very athletic and if you stick with it you can be a great wrestler

keep it up dude

thats a good start remind me of my self a bit for a first year. i would work on your speed. i mean a guy your size should have gotten the take down on speed alone. thats what i used and i have a similar body type the speed will help. practice practice practice keep up the good work

to be honest, i don't even know if i'm fast or slow....theres another guy in wrestling that weighs the same as me, but we are like the same speed....

.....based on that vid, do you guys consider me fast, slow, or normal; speed wise?

....any good excercises that can help me develope it? (besides practise practise practise)

well its not taht your slow just work on it the faster yhou can get the better in the scrable. see i never got really to the high level wrestling due to starting late and now have no place to do wrestling but at the lower level the fast guy usally beat a more techniqual guy i beat pleanty of guys on speed and power alone. so until that skill comes work the speed it will help. just drill in general it will help. your very raw but have alot to work with keep up the work and put the mat time in the best advice i can give you. also take advice and get help from anyone and everyone even if they tell you bad stuff it give you mroe to think about and can help you find your way and style

You have good movement on your feet. Flat footed sometimes. Always be on the balls of your feet. Allows the greatest movement and best reaction time. Work on penetration steps, and taking decent shots. When taking a shot, never place a hand on the mat. For single leg shots always keep your head on the inside, otherwise you'll get a nasty crossface if its on the outside. If you were to switch your head to the outside(while standing) raise the leg immediatley, as the crossface is hard to implement when your opponent had no base. Also hand control. Get a 2 on 1, or collar bi tie ups. Don't let guys grab your wrists. When you were on top, depending on the style, you can't lock your hands around your opponents body from under his armpits. Freestyle and Greco, you are allowed, folkstyle you are not. Can't really tell the style, lol.

you cross your feet, you have no set-up or level change, if you shoot a head outside single on an experienced wrestler he will rip your face off, you had illegal locked hands on the "tilt"......and that was after about 2 seconds. You are very much a beginner, you will get better, but please don't post any more vids until you do, it was painful to watch.

pretty sure this was freestyle as americans are the only ones who practice folk style

I don't really know shit about wrestling except for a few basics my buddy taught me. He was a high school AA and tri-state champion his senior year in Washington and only lost points once that year. Great wrestler. Unfortuneately hes crazy busy recruiting right now and hard to get ahold of. If I see him on like MyspaceIM for some reason though I will have him watch.
