he's cool, huh. he likes me. and i like him. :) what do you guys think. he'll grow to like 3-5 feet and he will live for 15+ years. my kids will be able to play with him!
hes so small!!! careful not to lose him..

but im gonna raise it. that's why i got a baby so it could be mine forever. i could've gotten a full grown one. im teh mama to him!

haha, i used to actually be deathly afraid of snakes till 40 made me overcome my fear now i love them!! i wanted to get a cooler one like a boa or something, but i'm too poor. and plus when they get big they could like kill you in your sleep!!!

haha, i used to actually be deathly afraid of snakes till 40 made me overcome my fear now i love them!! i wanted to get a cooler one like a boa or something, but i'm too poor. and plus when they get big they could like kill you in your sleep!!!
the thing is is in hawaii there are no snakes, well except for the ones at the zoo, or if ppl smuggle them in, thats why i dislike snakes so much...
i was in cali some years ago & while down in venice beach i took a pic with a 4-5 boa... everything was going cool until that snake started flickin its tongue & turning towards me... its beady eyes would not look away from me so i told the messican dude who owned it to take it or id smash it on the pavement... so my bf at the time was making fun of me telling me how im not a prey item bla bla bla, im like mutha fucka i watch animal planets, i dont give fuck if theyre not venomous they have curved back razor sharp teeth... so i told the guy to grab his snake again only this time LOUDER, so my bf tells the guy, hey shes not playing grab your snake before she kills it... hahahahaha

It's a corn snake. Or a relative of a corn snake. Rat snake perhaps.
Not a boa. They're fatter and have differently shaped heads.
Looks even easier to take care of than my tortoise.

Corn snakes and family are insanely easy to take care of. They are native to the US, so you don't have to do a lot of special heating or humidifying. They are very inquisitive, friendly, and eat like maniacs.

Don't sweat them not eating. As long as they eat approx. once a week, you're good. Mine have gone anywhere from 5 days to 3 months without eating.
