Just saw Beowulf in 3D. Totaly superintence!!!! Possibly the best armlock ever captured on film

I just got back from the movie - it was great. Having never read the poem I wasn't sure what to expect going into this movie but I was confident it would be good or at least watchable. The 3D is really impressive and so much more detailed in this movie compared to "The Polar Express". The voice work is pretty good especially from Anthony Hopkins & Angelina Jolie, Ray Winstone does a decent job but his constant "I am Beowulf" rants got a little annoying after awhile. Overall I give the movie a 8 out of 10.

holy fuck... Beowulf is not live-action but Polar-Express animated.... I haven't seen it but I just watched Ebert and Roeper review...

Ridiculous what they can do when its animated by CGI. He goes inside monsters and shit. So crazy.

I don't think it was bad at all. At first I didn't know it would be animated so that took me by surprise but I did end up enjoying it.
