Its not particularly scary. Its actually a "millimeter-wave" not microwave ray gun. Thats why it only penetrates 1/64th of an inch into your body. My unit actually tested this a couple years ago. A buddy of mine got chosen to be the guy that has to stand in front of it. It takes a pretty concerted effort to not just get the hell out of the way immediately and if you don't it gives you basically a good sunburn on your top layer of skin.

Yeah that's pretty fucking scary. Just what we need more "less lethal" guns... To control crowds of non violent people who oppose what ever regime is in charge...
