Edson Drago vs Pawel Nastula

Sperry and Bustamante are in Drago's corner. Drago wants to stare him down, Nastula is looking down.

Round 1:

Feinting at each other.Drago comes in with a right, they clinch, Nastula trying to work him onto the ropes, Drago goes for a wild hook with bad intentions, whiffs another, Nastula pulls guard. Has him in his half guard.

Nastula working for an armbar, trying to get his hips over, Drago manages to escape and get to his feet. Nastula is waved up by the ref. Nastula very cautious, doesnt want to slug with Drago. Drago pawing a jab, Nastula comes in to clinch, Drago whiffs, Nastula comes in for a single leg, gets him down; Drago works to stand up, Nastula goes for it again and has him mounted against the ropes, in close to his body

Nastula trying to get posture in mount, Drago holding him close. Right hands by Nastula. Now a few more rights as he's trying to soften him up for an armbar, holding his wrist. Failed bridge by Drago. Nastula continues to pound him with rights, looks like Drago's cut. He's turning his back now but Nastula keeps him in mount , now Drago does give him his back. Nasastula continuing to pound with rights, Drago flipping back over to mount.

Nastula continuing with good rights and lefts, now working for one of Drago's arms. They're in the corner close to the ropes and it's restarted in the middle.
Drago's cut is being attended to, giving Nastula a breather here. He's fine and they restart back in mount in the centre.

Drago trying to hold him close, now reverses Nastula into his guard, Trying to pound with his right hand, Nastula moves his hips up, Drago continues to throw that right and Pawel gives it up. Now he's holding an arm as Drago continues to go for rights and left. Nastula is moving his hips up and trapping Drago's arm! Now he has has an armbar! It's extended! Drago taps!

Lee Eun Su vs "Kiss" Nakao.

Okay, the staredown! Lee points to his lips like, "go ahead"- but a guy is actually restrainging Nakao so he can't do it. Boo.

Okay, Round 1:

Nakao shoots for a double, not initially good but Nakao continues to work for it, controlling his hips and converting it into a single leg, which he takes him down from near the ropes. Lee working his elgs up high for a triangle but no way. They are almost through the ropes here with Nakao dropping some short hammerfists. Gonna be restarted, the just turn the fighters around in the same spot. Nakao tries to pass, gets to his halfguard. Lee trying to hold him close, Nakao sizing an arm up for a keylock briefly, some short hammerfists and he works him against the corner, he drops some good punches and now more short hammerfists as Lee is through the ropes again.

Going to be restarted in the middle. Nakao in Lee's halfguard with his body up high. Now he works some left bodyshots and tries to crossface to break Lee's grip, lee moving his hips up as Nakao drops some light punches and hammerfists. Nakao stands up and tries to pass, but nothing doing and he goes back into LEe's closed guard with more decent punches.

Lee workes for an armbar, Nakao stys cool and keeps out of it, passing Lee's guard and throwing a couple of good knees to his head as they both stand up. Now he's working for a double on Lee in the corner, gets it and takes him down past his guard in side control

Lee manages to work him into his guard as Nakao looks gassed and tries to work his hands free from Lee's grip. Drops a right. Ref breaks it up and they go to their feet. Both men look tired.

Yellow card to Lee for stalling from the bottom. His nose is a bit bloody so they are goingto clean it up, his eye has developed a big mouse and is starting to swell closed, doctors are looking at it. It's really closed, looks like this will be it.

And it is, doctors call it. Pretty anticlimactic, Lee wasn't really in trouble but couldn't continue with his eye closed.

Vitor vs Takahashi

They stare each oother down, looking serious, but they do touch gloves.

Round 1:

Taka's wearing wrestling shoes. Light lowkick by Takahashi. Jab connects by Vitor, Takahashi thinks about shooting, aborts, whiffs a hook and Vitor knocks him out with a left hook!

Lil Nog vs Overeem

They look each other in the eye, but touch gloves.

Round 1:

Overeem misses a highkick, nice inside lowkick. Fakes an overhand right, light lowkick. He has tape all over the base of his neck. Nother lowkick and two highkicks by Overeem, second one connects fairly well.

Nogeuira trying to fake a jab. Overeem trying to do the same. Wild overhand right by Overeem misses, lowkick by Overeem. Working a lot of kicks here. Light lowkick by Overeem, and another. They both miss punches.

Rogerio trying to jab but Overeem skirting away from it. MIddlekick and an overhand right by OVereem, 1-2 by Overeem and they clinch, couple of kneesto the body by Overeem and Rogerio decides to just pulll guard. Elbow to the body by overeem.

Working elbows to Rogerio's midsection as Nog is holding a wrist and working to butterflies. Alistair sitting up high in his guard, and now he stands up and waves Rogerio up. Lowkcik and a highkick by Overeem, and another high kick, partially blocked. Light lowkick and a teep by Overeem, misses a highkick.

Nother glancing highkick by Overeem, keeping Rogerio at bay with his feet. Light lowkick by Overeem, and another. Nother blocked highkick. Middlekick countered by a right stright from Rogerio, a couple more kicks, one middle, one high, by Alastair. They aren't very hard kicks, almost like point karate ones but he is scoring and frustrating Rogerio. Hardlowkick by Alastair, inside and one to the outside. Hard lowkick staggers Rogerio. Good strategy by Overeem here! Blocked highkick.

Nother lowkick by Overeem, good one. Hits him with a left, Rogerio's thihg is starting to bruise up pretty well here. Overeem witha straight to the body, OVerem with a left as they work in close, Rogerio has a bodylock and is trying to wrok that takedown, takes Rogerio down into his half guard.

He's trying to grab a wrist and work over Overeem's leg, Overeem manages to get full guard. Hammerfist by Rogerio. Overeem is holding his wrists, just to stop him from pounding, not for a submission. Some light lefts, and now right hands to the head by Rogerio. Trying to work over one of Alastair's legs to get to halfguard, gives that up and decides to drop af ew more light rights to the had and one to the body. Overeem trying to keep control of his arms but Rogerio is working them free fairly easily and staying busy, even if he's not doing all that much damage.

Rogerio tries to pass over a leg again, it fails but he quickly passes over the opposite leg, nice move. Getting in close and trying to cross his body to get his other leg free. Alastair gets full guard again and goes for a triangle, Rogerio gets up and kicks twice at his legs before trying to go down into his guard again, solid upkick by Alastair. Kicks at Rogerio's knee from his back, Rogerio goes back into his half guard. Round over.

Round 1 easily goes to Alastair. But it did in their first fight, too. Rogerio does look quite rusty from being out of the ring so long.

Round 2:

Lowkick by Overeme, jab by Rogerio. Teep by Overeem. 1-2 by Rogerio. Nice left straight by Rogerio, Overeem tries to haul him down from a clinch but Rog. stays up. Good left jab by Rogerio. Alastair faiguing a bit maybe, hard lowkick and left hook by Alastair. Left by Rogerio, outside lowkick and a left by Rogerio. Nother lowkcik is countereed by Rogerio, Alastari comes forward with a knee but it's lazy. Hard lowkick by alastair. 1-2 by Rogerio connects on Alastair's guard. Jab by Rogerio after he hits andother jab on Alastair's guard, Rogerio rocks Alastair 1-2 followed with a left hook, Alastair is bending over staggered against the ropes, Rogerio continues to tee off, a knee by Rogerio, it's stopped?! What the fuck?!

Overeem's corner appears to have thrown in the towel

Cyborg vs Nakamura

Cyborg trying to stare him down and look menacing, Nak just looking down.

Round 1:

Nak misses a lowkcikc. Reaching bodshot by Nak, Cyborg's counter misses. Nak shoots a single, has ahold of aleg, takes him down and is working to pass Cyborg's guard from a standing position. Passes over one leg.

Nak is in Cyborg's half guard now, Cyborg tring to control his head, Nak has his leg on Cyborg's arm and is raining down right hands.Trying to get his other leg free, a few more right hands. Cyborg's halfguard is wide open, he just has to move his leg. Short right hands by Nak.

Some hammerfists by Nak now as he tries momentarilyto move his knee over into mount, Cyborg won't let him have it. Now he drops punches to disctract Cyborg and moves his knee out, into side control. Good knee to Cyborg's head. He throwsa couple more good knees, and now works his right hand to Cyborg's head again, short punches but with a very good workrate. Dominating him so far.

Nak maybe thinking about a astraight armbar, Cyborg gets his arm out of danger and Nak drops a good knee, and a borderline elbow strike. Now Nak has got a keylock! He's working it and almost has it out and extended, now he does.

Nak trying to work this keylock, now he's got it extremely far, looks like this is gonna be it. Elbow is beginning to bend at a very bad angle. Nak punches him a couple times, grabs the keylock again, and wrenches it. He's got it!

Nog vs Werdum

Sperry is cornering Nogueira. They actually stare each other down- Huh. Didnt see that coming.

Round 1:

They both whiff jabs, NOg comes in with a missed 1-2. Oh damn hard hook by Nog knocks Werdum off his feet and his gumshield out but he's with it, recovers to guard after Nog was trying to take his back and gets up. Stiff jab by Nog. They clinch in the corner, Nog has underhooks, thai clinch by Werdum and a knee. Werdum goes for the thai again, no go, misses a jab.

Nog misses an overhand left, nice stiff right jab. Misseas a 1-2, tries to throw hooks close up, no go. Werdum's nose is bleeding a bit. 1-2 by Werdum, and a jab which Nog slips. They trade jabs. Double jab by Nog, 2nd one hits, left straight by Werdum.

Werdum goes for an uppercut-straight, glancing blows. They skirt away from each others' jabs. Reaching jab by Nog. Jab by Werdum, both guys staying in the pocket and seeing what they can get away with. Teep and lowkick by Werdum, Bodyshot and an overhand left by Nog, nice boxing.

Werdum with a missed cople of hooks, follows up with a jab. Very light lowkick by Wardum, reaching bodyshot by Nog, throws a couple of hooks which connect up close. Goes for a reaching bodyshot, they clinch, thaiclinch knee by Werdum, Nog answers back with his hands and gets a bodylock which he hauls Werdum down from into his guard in the corner; restarted immediately in the middle. Werdum has his guard closed up, Nog dropping some light hammerfists. Werdum holding an arm but gives it up.

Nog thinks about trying to crank his neck a bit to open his guard, Werdum defends, tries to grab a wrist again. Some light punches by Nog, nothing important, just busy work. Werdum reaching over for a kimura, Nogueira adjusts his position to ward that off.

Nogueira stands up and kicks at Werdum's leg, they are stood up. Both guys circling now, Overhand right by Werdum countered by a missed straight from Nog, his him with a right in the corner, Werdum doesnt quite get a thaiclinch knee. Hook to the body by Nog. Jab by Nog. They trade jabs and Werdum circles away. So far Nogueira has always been coming forward, Werdum backing away.

Overhand left by Werdum, jab counter by Nog. Nice left hook by Nog, and now he puts Werdum down with a straight right. Werdum is just fine and immediately falls into guard position, ref stands him up.

LEft by Werdum, Nog'scounter doesnt go. Reaching double jab by Nog doesnt connect. Werdum continues to circle away, both guys staying in the pocket but measuring their shots and it's more technique than slugging. Lowkick by Werdum, they clinch, knee to the body by Werdum.

Lowkick by Nogueira as he follows Werdum otno the ropes, good left to the body and then one to the head. Werdum falls to guard position to avoid an exchange, ref waves him up. Werdu misses an upercut.

Left striaght by Nog staggers Werdum as he was stuck in the corner. Jab by Nog, one by Werdum. Nog bleeding slightly on his eyebrow ridge. Nice shovel hook to the body by Nog, catches him in he head with a good left too. 1-2 by Werdum lightly.

Round 2:

They touch gloves. Looking for openings in the other guy's defense, as Nog tries a couple jabs that are short. Another jab comes up short. Werdum connects with a couple of jabs, Overhand left by Nog doesnt connect.

Teep by Werdum as he is in the corner, he leans back, teeps, and goes for a double. He gets Nog down but he is able to circle out as he was not controlling his upper body and they're back standing. Jab by Werdum. Werdum goes for a single, holding a leg against the ropes, now he gets it but Nog is able to out-wrestle him and gain top position as they tumble down. He passes over one of Werdum's legs into half guard, Werdum recovers full guard easily.

Werdum holding a wrist but gives it up. Not much happening, some light punches/hammerfists by Nog that are write-offs, now he thinsk a couple times about cranking his neck to open his guard a little. He stands up.

They come back, feeling each other out again, Werdum is able to slip a 1-2 by Nog, connects with a jab, nice jab by Nogueira. staggers Werdum a bit. Werdum takes him down with a single, stands up, nice stomp by Werdum and now he's in his half guard, working to get an arm figure 4d but Nogueira uses his lack of balance to sweep and reverses him into the corner as the round ends.

Round 3:

They tap gloves, and miss jabs like round 2. Reahcing bodyshot by Nogueira. Werdum misses a jab. Circles away, Nog tries to reach with a hook, doesnt connect. Clinched against the ropes, not much happening, it's broken up. Very low energy fight I must say.

Werdum shoots for a single, he gets it momentarily but can't brcontrol his hips and they're back up, now he shoots another single and takes it into Nogueira's closed guard.
Werdum moves to pass and Nog scrambles up, another single by Werdum, Nog tries for a guillotine from his half guard as they tumble down, but that's obviously not going to work. Now Werdum has Nog against the corner and momentarily had his arm in a figure 4 but the sweat makes it impossible to hold.

Restarted in the centre in Nogueira's half guard. Nice sweep by Nogueira takes him to the ttop in Werdum's open guard. Right hand by Nog, Werdum trying to hold an arm but it's too late in the fight. Nog stands up and kicks at Werdum's legs disinterestedly a couple times before they are stood up. They trade jabs.

Werdum shoots again, Nog is content to go into his half guard. Werdum begins to drop some right hands, they are in the corner here and it looks like restart time. He's trying to work for an arm triangle but Noguira's not giving anything to work with. Nog turns his back, Werdum tries to take it and Nog scrambles to the top. They scramble as the fight ends,

Wandy vs Fujita

Ruas is in Fujita's corner, and Dos Caras with his mask on, of course. Rudimar in Wanderlei's.

They stare each other down hard. Getting in each other's faces. Really good one.

Round 1:

Fujita misses a lowkick, lotta bounce in both guys' steps. Silva misses a highkick, Fujita rushes in to get a knee, he misses it and Wanderlei rushes in smelling blood, hitting him with vicious knees that hurt Fujita. He's working for a double on Wanderlei in the corner, and gets it. Gets to side control, Wanderlei's head is through the ropes. Restart.

Restarted with Fujita in side control, tries to get to north-south, Wanderlei gets guard and is going for a triangle, now moves over for an armbar, he's got his arm trapped but he has to extend it which is where Wanderlei usually gives up an armbars. He's staying with this one, but Fujita manouvres out and is back in his guard.

Fujita with some body shots in Wanderlei's closed guard. Wanderlei going for another armbar, moves his hips up, Fujita briefly has side control but goes back into Silva's closed guard as he moves with Ironhead.

Fujita trying ot get posture, not doing all that much in Wanderlei's guard. Wanderlei beginning to thing about holding an arm, ref calling for action. Left hand by Fujita, Fujita trying to stand up and get a wide base but not much happening. Trying briefly to can opener Wanderlei to get him to open his guard. Some bodyshots and hammerfists by Fujita.

Wanderlei trying to trap an arm, more light punches by Fujita. It's stood up.

Yellow card assessed to Wanderlei.

They circle each other for quite a while without attempting to strike. Overhand right by Wanderlei, couple of weak lowkicks by Fujita. Nice wild Wanderlei style right hook sends Fujita backwards a bit. Fujita misses a jab, Silva misses a highkick, tries another wild hook which whiffs air.

Light lowkick by Silva. Light highkick catches Fujita in the face, and they circle. Lowkick by Wand, goes in with some trademark wild Silva hooks, some connect. Fujita's face is beginning to bruise up on his cheek and the centre of his forehead. More circling. Right straight by Wanderlei blocked. Lowkick by Wanderlei. They trade extrmeley light lowkicks. Wnaderlei misses a jab, gets a lowkick

Light lowkick by Wanderlei, ref calls for action as Fujita misses a lowkick, 1-2 by Wanderlei, and now they trade. Wanderlei drops Fujita with a hook as they trade punches, Wanderlei connecting! Tries to finish him on the ground with some punches from side control, Fujita gets up, they're trading! Wanderlei with soccer kicks, and punches, Fujita looks lost, another soccer kick by Wanderlei and the ref calls it.

Josh Barnett vs Mark Hunt

No staredown, they both laugh at something and shake hands warmly.

Round 1:

MIssed jab by Barnett, he misses an overhand right and clinches with Hunt, working for a guillotine against the corner. Hunt works out of that, of course, and breaks away. Barnett goes overhand right-clinch again and immediately takes him down, in Hunt's closed guard.

Barnett with some body shots, stands up to try to pass, easily passes into side control. Sizing Hunt's arm up for a keylock, Hunt tries to get to his feet, Josh scrambles into a position where he can work for an armbar, sitting on Hunt in a reverse mount. Hunt jerks a kimura and Hunt taps!

Cro-Cop vs Yoshida

No staredown, both guys look down. They touch up and head to their corners.

Round 1:

They touch gloves. Cro Cop fakes the left straight he always throws. Stalking Yoshida who is backing away. Overhand right by Yoshida. Cro cop with a hard straight. Hard lowkick by Cro Cop. Cro Cop feints the left straight again, lowkick. Skirts away from Yoshida's overhand right. Yoshida shoots for a single, and he has a leg, Cro Cop able to ward that off and now Yoshida has an upper body clinch- not where you want to be with him. They are against the ropes,Yoshida working for overhook control

Yoshida clinched up with him in the corner, Shimada calling for action. They are giving Yoshida time here but he's not able to do anything with it, Cro Cop crossfacing Yoshida. Yoshida goes for the uchimata, he almost has it, but Cro Cop stays up. Straight by Cro Cop. Yoshida's gi going undone. Uppercut by Yoshida, they clinch, Yoshida with an uppercut on the break. Lowkick by Cro Cop.

Yoshida comes forward with a right. Right by Cro Cop, he throws a high kick which doesnt connect fully. Yoshida taps his head tauntint him like "come on, puti t here". They trade a little bit with neither guy connecting solid. Wild overhand by Yoshida misses. Lowkick by Yoshida. Hard lowkick by Cro Cop, you could hear the snap. Nother one as Yoshida with an anwkward counter. He goes for a leg but Cro Cop wards him off and hits him with a jab.

Yoshida goes for his own high kick, slips and falls into guard. Cro Cop follows him down into his guard? Huh, okay. Staying in tight to Yoshida who is holding an arm. Cro Cop explodes to break Yoshida's grip and postures up with some rights, sitting up high and then Yoshida holds him close. He gets free and decides to stand up. Overhand right by Yoshida, uppercut by Yoshi misses. Hard lowkick by Cro Cop.

Yoshida tries a middle kick, Cro Cop coutners with a hard lowkick. Lowkicks him again and Yoshida limps a bit, Cro Cop with a right high kick which is not on the mark. Hard lowkick by Cro Cop staggers Yoshida and he's clearly very hurt by them. Cro Cop chases him, throws a combination and knocks Yoshida down with an uppercut: Cro Cop thinks it's over and doesn't do anything, Yoshida falls to guard; Shimada is basically giving him time to get up,which is not cool. He finally gets up, Cro Cop hits him with a right, and another hard lowkick, sends him to the canvas again. Cro Cop walks away, Shimada is trying to give him TIME TO RECOVER! This is LAME! Yoshida cannot get up no matter how much time Shimada gives him and it's over,
