I suffer from a weak bad wrist due to two operations on my right hand and started to work on my lower arm and grip.
I use a powerball for warm-up and warm-down.
A home made from a broom stick wrist roller
Captain of Crush Trainer and #1
Towel pull ups
I feel it has made a huge difference to my arms, strenght and has helped my BJJ.
Does anyone else here regularly train his/her grip as part of their training?
If you don't I strongly recommend you look into it.

I started using a CoC trainer for my BJJ and i feel it kicks ass. I'm lanky for my weight so i've always been able to get triangles easy, but with my new found ability to actually HOLD a mans arm i'm starting to find armbars/kimura's and the like much easier to finish without them pulling out.

I found that it has helped me in passing the guard quite a lot and my pre-sub setups have also improved. I feel it has added a new dimension to my game. Maybe it's jsut more confidence, but either way it works.
I have become quite addicted to practicing my grip lately because the results have been fantastic. I train five times a week with varying intensity.
Also, look into the CoC for quality grippers; I heard the Ivanko is good but never used it myself.

climbing a rope. Its hard but it works really well for grip IMO.
I work the grips when I'm deadlifting or jerking off.

What I do is farmer walks. Get 2 jugs with nice thick handles and walk around with those it will increase your grip strength pretty nice. That or get a 2 or 3 inch thick pull up bar and hang from it.
