EDIT: i know this belongs in the Tech Talk forum, but i wanted to put it here for a little while so more people see it before it gets moved.

oh and it says to put Damn Small Linux on it (which is pretty sweet www.damnsmalllinux.org ) but you can put whatever OS you want on it. in fact, you COULD put vista on if you upgrade it to at least 512 MB of RAM but it'll run like shit.

put 256 to 512 MB of RAM in it and you can run XP comfortably or a real linux distro like debian or fedora core.
